The following music I realize not everyone will like. I bought Marian Anderson's Brahms Alto Rhapsody LP when I was in my 20's. I could never find it on CD at any store. Couldn't even order it. Lo and behold I find it on YouTube. I think it's a beautiful piece. You have to consider that it was probably recorded in the 30's.

I'll finish with Grieg's Morning. I'm off to bed, but for some it may be morning soon.

Did you know that Led Zeppelin didn’t write Dazed and Confused? I was really surprised to hear that it was actually written by Jake Holmes who I think was American. Yardbirds first did this song. I really liked this group but don’t remember them doing this song. Led Zeppelin brings back memories, especially Whole Lotta Love.
Yardbirds: it’s very different and can’t say I like it.

original lyrics:
The ChristianhymnBe Still, My Soul, with words written in 1752 by Katharina von Schlegel, translated into English in 1855 by Jane Borthwick (both pre-dating Sibelius' composition), is usually sung to this tune.

Sad emo: loved the song by Mary Mary. I have seen the version of Amazing Grace by Chris Tomlin. Great version. Tried to find David Phelps but couldn't find it.
It is well with my soul: after Amazing Grace this has to be a very close second. They can both bring me to tears. David Phelps and Guy Penron do a great job. I saw David Phelps a while back at the church I attend. He was phenominal. One of my favourites of his: Just as I am. Very powerful.

Scully: that was a great version. I once saw a programme on Amazing Grace, all the different versions, some blue grass, bag pipes etc. This song will always be one of my favourites.
Hope you like the others. I missed church today. Forgot to set my alarm. Posting and listening to these worship songs will have to be my church service today.

I agree, the beginning was interesting but I personally didn't like it. For some reason I was reminded of Jethro Tull even though there is no comparison . Maybe it's the clothing. When I was young I really liked them. Here's one, the rest I will put on Tyrone's thread. Be forwarned, it's almost 10 min long.
